Course: Redesigning Railway Stations as a Platform and Hub for Biodiversity 

In this course students developed design proposals in response to the need for the protection and enhancment of biodiversity, in collaboration with Naturalis and NS, the National Dutch Railway Network.

Course: Nature Design – From Inspiration to Integration

This class focused on the evolving relationship between design and nature, from formal inspiration in the mid-19th century up to experimental, functional integration addressing the pressures of climate change.

Course: Introduction to Biodesign, Bioart and Brewing

Presented contemporary examples of design and art integrated with biological processes and a hands-on instruction in the crafts of beer, bread and mead-making.


Hunter College, New York

Course: A History of Collecting and Exhibiting Design and Architecture

Introduced the history of 20th century design and architecture, as seen through the exhibitions and collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
